How do I find customers for my home-based business?

Answered By Aidon "Hughie" Bilbao, Editor

If you are just starting on your home-based business, you can first invite your neighbors and close friends to be your first customer. They can be your bridge to more choices of future clients. For instance, your business is baking pastries. If your friends or neighbors knew someone who owns a large pastries shop in a shopping complex, it will be your advantage. Once they are satisfied with what you are offering, just the spread of word from them and you can be working out with large clients later on.

You can also place a small yet attractive advertisement in a local newspaper. It can be of great help on attracting potential clients in patronizing your products. Best time to place advertisements is during Sunday.

If you plan on peddling your wares and products on the internet, then you can probably learn about internet marketing and how you can effectively market youyr products through the internet.
